A container is not a quality score
MP4 and MKV describe containers that can hold video, audio and other tracks. A filename ending in one of those extensions does not establish its resolution, bitrate, language or suitability for your device. The same container can hold very different editions of a film.

Prepare an offline edition
This website does not host movie-file downloads. When a viewing service offers offline access, check its supported device, available audio, expiry period and whether the download needs a later connection to remain usable. A saved title in My List is a bookmark, not an offline movie.
Do not choose by file size alone
A smaller edition may save storage while sacrificing detail, audio options or picture quality. A larger edition may be unnecessary for the screen you will use. Find the correct film, then choose the practical edition. The quality guide explains the picture terms.
